DIY Heart-Shaped Lavender Soap

Lavender is known for its calming and harmonizing scent, making it ideal for gentle skincare. Raw soap is mild, skin-friendly, and environmentally conscious due to its lack of packaging. Combining these elements creates a soothing and fragrant soap for hands or as a body wash alternative.
This heart-shaped lavender soap can be made in just 5 minutes and is a wonderful gift idea for occasions like Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day, as well as a small token for birthdays or weddings.
If you have dried lavender from previous seasons, it can be used. Alternatively, the heart-shaped soap can be made with other dried flowers and essential oils, such as rose, lilac, or jasmine.
You Will Need:
- 200g raw soap
- Heart-shaped silicone mold
- Lavender essential oil
- Dried lavender flowers
How to Make It:
- Cut the raw soap into rough pieces. Gently melt the soap either in a microwave or on the stove over medium heat.
- Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to the melted soap. Food coloring can also be added at this stage if desired.
- Crumble the dried lavender and place a small amount into each heart cavity of the silicone mold.
- Carefully pour the melted soap into the silicone mold. Add a little more dried lavender on top for a layered effect.
- Allow the soap to dry and harden for approximately 3 hours. Once set, carefully remove the soap from the mold.
The finished lavender heart soaps are ready for gifting. They can be decorated further by placing them in a mason jar, adorned with ribbon and a label.
