Basic tools for working with FIMO include:

• A smooth, empty bottle for rolling out the clay.

For a “snowman” picture, a cut-out calendar page was used as a background. The FIMO figures were modeled onto this background and then baked together. Finally, the figures were painted with clear varnish using a fine brush.

Important Considerations for Baking FIMO

The baking process is critical. Care must be taken to prevent the molded pieces from breaking during baking. After baking, it is essential to ventilate the room thoroughly.

Due to the baking process and the handling of potentially hot items, FIMO is not recommended for unsupervised use by children. If possible, using a dedicated oven on a terrace is an ideal solution.
